Every Smater Tools product is backed with either 1 or 3 years (depending on types of product) manufacturer's warranty.

Every Smarter Tools product is warranted to the original purchaser only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to certain exceptions, Smarter Tools will repair or replace any part on a product which, after examination, is determined by Smarter Tools to be defective in material or workmanship for a period of 1 or 3 years (depending on types of product) after the date of purchase. Return the product and a copy of proof of purchase to Smarter Tools Service Center or Smarter Tools Authorized Service Provider, freight prepaid and insured. This warranty does not apply to damage that Smarter Tools determines to be from repairs made or attempted by anyone other than Smarter Tools authorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
